UF TREEO Center offers online drinking water and wastewater treatment courses that are approved by the State of Florida Operator Certification Program to take operator licensing exams. Once the student has completed the necessary experience hours and has earned their certification in drinking water and/or wastewater treatment, the license can be used to meet prerequisites into one of Florida Gateway College’s two college credit certificate programs, an Associate in Science degree, or a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in water and wastewater.
