These courses cover a wide variety of topics and offer training to prepare students to meet the needs and duties of an operator and/or manager.
Students enrolling in a wastewater course from UF TREEO will gain valuable skills and knowledge of the wastewater industry. UF TREEO courses prepare students to enhance their current scope of work through offering interactive, hands-on and guided discussion courses, where students are given opportunities to learn from their instructors as well as the students in their class.
UF TREEO Review and Exam Prep Courses prepare students trying to pass the State of Florida Water and Wastewater Operator Exams. These courses will not qualify you to apply to FDEP for your water or wastewater license. Exam prep Classes are three to five days of intense exam review and preparation. These are self-paced online courses, which consist of exercises, presentations, self-grading quizzes and a final exam.
Students should be computer literate and familiar with PC-based systems to participate in online courses. Prepayment is required before you will receive log-in information. Courses must be completed within six months from date of registration. A certificate of completion will be issued on the date you pass the final exam.
