UF TREEO Center Cancellation & Transfer Policy

Unless specified otherwise, request for refund must be received in writing within 3 business days.  Although fax or email is acceptable, mailed items must have arrived (not postmarked) at least 3 business days prior to the start date of the course or event. Refund requests can be sent by mail, e-mail or fax to the addresses or number indicated on this page.

If the notice of cancellation is received 3 or more business days prior to the course start date, you may choose to send a substitute student or transfer to another course without penalty.  If you choose to transfer to another course, you must take the course within six months of the original course date.  After six months, the funds will be forfeited.  You may only transfer your registration one time with approval.  Additional transfers will be assessed a $100 fee.

If you must cancel your registration less than 3 business days prior to the course start date, you may choose to substitute a person. However, no transfers or refunds are available during this time period.

If you are registering for an online course, you must not have accessed the course or completed any course work to be eligible for a refund.  Fees for manuals, shipping and enrollment may be deducted from your refund.

A processing fee may be deducted from refund requests. We reserve the right to modify or cancel a course or event when circumstances warrant, including insufficient registrations. In the event of cancellation or postponement, each registrant will be notified by telephone and/or by written notification and will be issued a full refund. The University of Florida is not responsible for any other related expenses.
