Unless specified otherwise, refund requests must be received in writing 3 business days prior to the start date of a course or event. Fax, email or mail is acceptable, however, mailed items must have arrived (not postmarked) at least 3 business days prior to the start date of the course or event. Refund requests can be sent by mail, e-mail or fax to the addresses or number indicated on this page.
If you must cancel your registration less than 3 business days prior to the course start date, you may choose to substitute a person without penalty. However, no refunds are available during this time period.
If you are registered for an online course, you must not have accessed the course or completed any course work to be eligible for a refund. Fees for manuals, shipping and enrollment may be deducted from your refund.
A processing fee may be deducted from refund requests. We reserve the right to modify or cancel a course or event when circumstances warrant, including insufficient registrations. In the event of cancellation or postponement, each registrant will be notified by telephone and/or by written notification and will be issued a full refund. The University of Florida is not responsible for any other related expenses.
