PPE for Confined Spaces: Exploring proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) selection for workers in confined spaces.

HazCom and You: Understanding workplace hazards and compliance with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard.

Safety for Supervisors: Equipping supervisors and managers with the tools to integrate best safety practices into their management activities.

ABC’s of Fall Protection: Covering essential aspects of fall protection, including anchor points, fall clearances, and common misuses.

Lockout/Tagout: Educating students on recognizing hazardous energy sources and implementing proper energy isolation and control.

Ladder Safety: Providing comprehensive training on ladder selection, inspection, and safe usage according to ANSI and OSHA standards.

PPE for Confined Spaces

This 4-hour course will explore topics related to proper PPE selection for workers in the construction industry that enter confined spaces. An overview of definitions and regulations will be covered as well as hazard control and proper PPE selection.

HazCom and You: Understanding Potential Exposures in the Workplace

Every employee has the right to know of the anticipated hazards of their job. This 4-hour course will introduce the OSHA Hazardous Communication Standard (commonly referred to as HAZCOM), along with addressing other potential sources of exposure for workers.

Safety for Supervisors

This course trains supervisors and managers to incorporate best safety practices into their daily management activities. Classroom discussion will also include managing the multiple generations currently in the workforce, today’s challenges with mental health in the workplace, and future trends.

ABC’s of Fall Protection

This 2-hour course will cover the ABC’s of Fall Protection including anchor points, fall clearances, pre-use inspection, donning/tool tethering, rescue and relief straps, cleaning and storage, and common misuses. This course includes a fall protection demonstration.

Lockout/Tagout

In this 2-hour course, students will learn to recognize hazardous energy sources, the type and magnitude of the energy available in the workplace, and the methods required for energy isolation and control.

Ladder Safety

Using ANSI and OSHA Standards, this 2-hour course will combine live virtual training with in-person hands-on training. Ladder selection, inspection and maintenance, awareness, and teamwork will be discussed.
