For over 40 years, Dr. Robert L. Knight has been a tireless advocate for the protection of Florida’s iconic springs and water systems. As founder of the Florida Springs Institute, Dr. Knight has dedicated his career to researching and preserving the delicate ecosystems of the state’s artesian springs. Though recently retired from his role as the Institute’s leader, Dr. Knight’s commitment to safeguarding Florida’s waters remains unwavering.
