UF TREEO CEU Sponsor Application & Processing Guide

UF TREEO is an approved Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) training provider, offering Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for sponsors who provide CEUs to operators seeking to maintain their Distribution, Drinking Water, and Wastewater licenses. CEUs recognize the successful completion of non-credit professional development and training programs and may be earned through classroom courses, seminars, self-study programs, or conferences. Credits are calculated based on actual instructional contact hours (excluding breaks, meals, and travel). For operators, one CEU equals 10 hours of continuing education (View the Operator Certification Handbook). The information below outlines how to apply, how applications are processed, and how CEUs are awarded to help you navigate the process with confidence.

If you have specific questions about CEUs for a UF TREEO course, please contact Areiole Williams, Water/Wastewater Program Coordinator, at (352) 294-3877 or areiole.williams@treeo.ufl.edu for assistance.
